D’Angelo just premiered “Sugah Daddy”, his first official single in 15 years through Red Bull’s 20 Before 15. The single is being released just a day before the full release of his long-awaited album Black Messiah is expected. #BlackMessiah is currently trending worldwide on Twitter as the listening party went down earlier today in New York. Everyone's been waiting for more D'Angelo, and it looks like Europe is getting first dibs. It was recently announced that he 40-year-old will set off on The Second Coming tour overseas beginning in Switzerland in February 2015 with 13 dates through March, ending in Brussels, Belgium.
A day after dropping the first part of his double release, Gambino comes through with the second half of his STN MTN/Kauai project. The STN MTN side, which is free to download, was an homage to Atlanta and featured remixes to Lil Wayne's "Go DJ," Ludacris' "Southern Hospitality," and Timbaland & Magoo's "All Y’all."
