One of Southern California's biggest celebrations of independent hip-hop returns this summer as Hiero Day LA 2026 comes to the Hollywood Palladium on Sunday, August 30th, bringing together an impressive lineup that spans multiple generations of hip-hop.

Hosted by legendary radio personality Sway Calloway, this year's event features performances from Lupe Fiasco, Hieroglyphics, Coast Contra, Salimata, and LXGIT, showcasing both legendary artists and rising talent.

Originally inspired by Oakland's annual Hiero Day celebration, the Los Angeles edition continues the tradition of celebrating independent hip-hop culture while bringing fans together for an evening of live music and lyricism. With pioneers like Hieroglyphics sharing the stage alongside newer acts like Coast Contra, the event promises a diverse lineup that reflects the evolution of underground and independent rap.
