Afropunk is coming to Los Angeles
There's some good news for the people of Southern California as music and arts festival AFROPUNK just announced its coming to LA. It was revealed today that AFROPUNK LA is set to take place Thursday, October 22nd between 8pm and midnight at a currently undisclosed location under the banner "The Most Wicked Party: LA". The popular Los Angeles venue is revealed after you RSVP. The event lineup includes performances by Mykki Blanco, LE1F, letlive., and AFROPUNK Atlanta Battle of the Bands winners Samurai Shotgun.
As they do for all of their events, AFROPUNK LA will create content specifically for Los Angeles called "Born To Be Different". The LA stop will be hosted by D.R.E.S tha BEATnik with beats provided by BLKKMORRIS and will celebrate LA's Leaders of Cool, Dante Fried Chicken and Ewok MSK HM.
