The world premiere production of "Marley," the first original musical based on both the life and music of Bob Marley, began rehearsals March 24 at Center Stage, the State Theater of Maryland. "Marley" will run May 6 to June 14 and will star Holland's "The Voice" contestant Mitchell Brunings in the lead role of Bob Marley.

Jamaican dancehall artist Glendon "Admiral" Bailey was recently hit with multiple fraud-related charges while attempting to renew his passport. Bailey is scheduled to appear in the Corporate Area Criminal Court in Kingston, Jamaica on March 5th.

Sean Paul's performance at a free concert in Male' is up in the air after a death threat appeared in a video on YouTube. The message in the video was that should Sean Paul perform in the Maldives, the world would see his "burnt and blood drenched dead body".
