Described as "Alt-R&B", singer-songwriter Christopher Gallant has been writing since childhood. Most recently the Los Angeles based artist linked up with Jhene Aiko on a track co-produced by Adrian Younge and Stint for Red Bull Sound Select in Venice Beach, California. "Skipping Stones" premiered on Zane Lowe's Beats1 show with a digital release from Red Bull Sound Select.

Title track "Skipping Stones feat. Jhene Aiko" pairs Gallant and Jhene Aiko with Adrian Younge on production alongside his "Weight In Gold" collaborator Stint, while "Borderline" slows it down with Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and producer James Fauntleroy. Both tracks feature his characteristic future soul sound.
