On February 6, 2026, the legacy of Bob Marley comes alive at 56 Hope Road as the Bob Marley Museum hosts a full-day Earthstrong celebration under the theme Positive Vibration.
Pulled from Rastaman Vibration, which marks its 50th anniversary, this year's theme reflects resilience, unity, and forward motion—values that hit especially hard as Jamaica continues rebuilding in the wake of Hurricane Melissa. This Earthstrong isn't just about honoring the past; it's about moving the culture forward.
From sunrise to sunset, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., 56 Hope Road becomes a hub of ceremony, student performances, live reggae, and family-centered creativity. The day opens with traditional blessings and the blowing of the abeng, followed by youth tributes, a hands-on Kids' Village, and the Live at Bob's Acoustic Show, featuring established and rising artists paying respect to Marley's legacy.
Beyond Kingston, the Positive Vibration Concert Series extends the message globally. Powered by the Bob and Rita Marley Foundations, American Friends of Jamaica, Tuff Gong Radio, and SiriusXM, the four-part series connects Jamaican artists with global collaborators while spotlighting recovery efforts in housing, healthcare, agriculture, and support for women and children. The series kicks off February 6 with a Positive Vibration 81 session airing on Tuff Gong Radio from SiriusXM's Miami Beach studio, hosted by DJ GQ with music from DJ Xaun and special guest performances. The celebration continues into the night with a Bob Marley Tribute Concert at Emancipation Park, hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport.
Can't make it to Jamaica? The vibration still reaches worldwide through @BobMarleyFoundation, @BobMarleyMuseum, and Tuff Gong TV on YouTube, featuring exclusive Earthstrong content, performances, and updates on ongoing recovery work.
Positive Vibration proves that Bob Marley's legacy isn't frozen in time—it's active, global, and still building a better future.
