This week Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Jill Scott announced the dates for a summer 2015 tour. The 25 date tour will start on July 13th in Pittsburgh, PA and wrap up August 28th in Phoenix, AZ. Jilly will be performing new music from her upcoming album as well as many of her classic hits.
It looks like D'Angelo's not the only one coming out of retirement. After 18 years K-Ci, JoJo, DeVante and Mr. Dalvin just released a new Jodeci single, "Nobody Wins" featuring B.o.B..
D’Angelo just premiered “Sugah Daddy”, his first official single in 15 years through Red Bull’s 20 Before 15. The single is being released just a day before the full release of his long-awaited album Black Messiah is expected. #BlackMessiah is currently trending worldwide on Twitter as the listening party went down earlier today in New York. Nearly 15 years ago, D'Angelo released his groundbreaking R&B album, Voodoo, and disappeared. Now it looks like he's back and he'll finally release his long-awaited follow-up, Black Messiah.
Everyone's been waiting for more D'Angelo, and it looks like Europe is getting first dibs. It was recently announced that he 40-year-old will set off on The Second Coming tour overseas beginning in Switzerland in February 2015 with 13 dates through March, ending in Brussels, Belgium.
