Ferguson trumpeter Keyon Harrold will headline the *Jazz Is Dead* showcase on December 14th at the recently opened Lodge Room in LA's historic Highland Park neighborhood.

The showcase will include a performance by the Josef Leimberg Astral Progression Ensemble and DJ sets by Adrian Younge (Linear Labs/Artform Studio), Sacred (Juju) and Wyldeflower.


Tickets for the all-ages event, presented by ArtDontSleep, are available online for $20. The event will take place inside the Lodge Room Highland Park, located at 104 North Avenue 56 in Los Angeles, CA.

Keyon's new album, *The Mugician* (Mass Appeal Records/Legacy Recordings) has been lauded for its "expansive, often cinematic soundscapes that are equal parts improvisational jazz, psychedelic [hip-hop](https://sensimedia.net/radio/stations/hiphop), ruminative R&B balladry, and pointed social critique" (All Music) and called "a collection of thoughtful and wide-ranging compositions" (Rolling Stone).
