The Black Eyed Peas surprised everyone on Friday debuting a new single and video for the song "Yesterday" on Apple Music, which pays tribute to a number of old school hip hop classics. One person who we're guessing wasn't thrilled was the venerable soul songstress Erykah Badu. Miss Badu took to social media today to point out the similarities between the new Peas' video and her video for the song "Honey", the lead single from her 2008 album "New Amerykah Part One (4th World War)". While many of us may be torn about the August 7th release of the Fantastic Four reboot, there is something to look forward to in addition to the post credit scene every Marvel movie promises. Director Josh Trank recently revealed that Run The Jewels' El-P helped to score the end credits. El-P went on to confirm his involvement, adding that he created a new piece for the movie with contributions from Little Shalimar.

Earlier this week Talib Kweli released an entire album of rarities, B-sides and never-before-heard material available exclusively through his website, without any prior notice. "Train of Thought: Lost Lyrics, Rare Releases & Beautiful B-Sides Vol. 1" includes twelve tracks of unearthed gems that feature Common, Killer Mike and Yasiin Bey just to name a few. The songs are being described as having been kept in storage, finished for various projects but unreleased until today, including an unreleased Black Star cut, "Bright as Stars". Production credits on the surprise LP include Hi Tek, Kanye, DJ Quik and Dave West among others. As mentioned the album is currently only available digitally through the official website, kweliclub.com, so head over there and grab your copy today. Buy Now
