DJ Premier Headlines Panic In L.A.

L'Affaire Musicale & Ouija Entertainment are no strangers to Los Angeles event promotions. Having already seen success with their Wicked Paradise events, the two look to continue their run with the launch of Panic in L.A., which they describe as "a new event format on a mission to bridge the gap between fans, artists, and genres." Panic in L.A. will take place at The Belasco Theater on Friday, March 11th, and boasts a solid lineup led by legendary DJ and producer DJ Premier.


And just like that Kendrick Lamar releases a surprise 8-track album by the name of "untitled unmastered.". The follow up to last year's (5 Grammy winning) "To Pimp a Butterfly" features Bilal, Thundercat, Robert Glasper and more. Those on the West coast who haven't made it to New York yet for the critically acclaimed Hamilton musical have reason to be excited. The national touring company of the Broadway phenomenon has announced dates for its premieres in both Los Angeles and San Francisco.


Cincinnati emcees Donte The Gr8 (MOOD) and Buggs Tha Rocka have joined forces to form Space Invadaz. With their first project, a free 14 song mixtape titled Contact, available this Spring, the duo offer up a first taste in "Gun Show". The song is a commentary on the country's obsession with guns and gun violence and features production by Supa Dave West.


Just a few weeks out from the release of Linear Labs' Adrian Younge release Something About April II, Rza drops a remix of one of the albums tracks in commemoration of Quentin Tarantino's Hateful Eight. Hands of God also features Stereolab's Laetitia Sadier and Israeli singer Karolina.
